Wish there was an actual way to fix this problem. I may have tried more steps but that is all I can recall right now. Then in the middle of playing the game my whole system froze so I did a hard restart and then this problem came about. Like you, the game was working just fine for about a week or less after I purchased it during the labor day sales event (in the year of our Lord 2022). (Did nothing)ĩ)Changed firewall settings and checked antivirus (did nothing) (Did nothing)Ĩ) Tried setting the game's exe to run in Windows 8 compatibility, even though I am on Windows 10, just read it on a forum so tried it. don't know why I found this on so many forums. Things I did try before all this that lead to nothing (out of order):ġ) Updating graphics card (already up to date, so didn't do anything)Ģ) Made a registry edit to some file to fix my error: "LowLevelFatalError GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 120.00 secs." that I saw on a forum (that didn't fix it.)ģ) Tried launching Steam, Origin, and game in administrator mode through "Compatibility" options (did nothing)ĥ) Unistalled/reinstalled game (did nothing)Ħ) Uninstalled/reinstalled Origin (did nothing)ħ) Changed Date & Time on PC to try and trick something. I'm just telling you where my trouble shooting stopped. You can NOT launch the game from Steam though. ![]() Essentially something is wrong with Origin and this completely bypasses Origin fooling your PC somehow. Your directory might be different but where ever the game is installed that is where you find it. Then I launched the game from this executable file "SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe" found in Steam>SteamApps>common>Jedi Fallen Order>SwGame>Binaries>Win64 directory. So I can tell you what I did to get the game to work in a jenky way.įind the origin.exe file in your origin folder and move it to a different folder, I just moved it to my desktop.
